Dr Adedeji Adeleke & Son, Davido

Adedeji Adeleke (March 6, 1957) is a Nigerian business magnate, billionaire, and the founder and president of Adeleke University. He is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Holdings Limited. Davido and Sharon Adeleke are his children. Dr. Vero Adeleke, his wife, passed away on March 3, 2003.

The Adelekes are a well-known and prominent family in Osun State for a variety of reasons, including the involvement of the Adeleke University in the state, the Davido factor, and Deji Adeleke's brothers who have dabbled in politics in the state. Isiaka Adeleke, a two-time senator and former governor of Osun State, died on April 23, 2017, in Osogbo, and Adedeji Adeleke was his younger brother.

Davido has boasted about his father's riches in a few of his songs. In reality, his first hit song, "Dami Duro," had a refrain about his identity ('Omo Baba Olowo,' which means "son of a wealthy man"). He went on to use the phrase as one of his nicknames, O.B.O. However, the question remains: how wealthy is Adedeji Adeleke? Davido graduated from Babcock in July 2015 with a music degree after his father paid the university to establish a music department for an inaugural class for just one student — Davido!
